The next morning, Dylan received another message from the coach reminding him of the meeting. After completing his morning routine, Dylan left the dormitory. On the way he meet up with fatty Jing who's also on his way to the meeting hall.

"Heyyyy, tell me the truth, you're that newly ascended guy called Mask, aren't you?"

Asked fatty Jing to Dylan's surprise. Dylan contemplated for a.while before nodding.

"Damn! So it really was you! Tell me you bastard, when did you become so strong?!"

Fatty Jing shooked Dylan like he'll get his answers doing so. Annoyed, Dylan used his speed to get out of fatty Jing's greasy hold. Then like a shadow appeared behind him, and gave his butt a kick.

"Gah! Stop doing that!"

Said the startled fatty Jing after getting up. But Dylan simply gave him the "You-deserved-it" look.

"But seriously, how did you get so strong all of the sudden?"

Dylan simply shrugged his shoulders, and said "you'll be stronger too if you're not such a lazy pig. Also, my second awakening have something to do with it."

"I knew that it had something to do with your second awakening! But still, that shouldn't be the main reason. I mean, I knew a bunch of guys who had their second awakening too. But there increase in strenght is not as exaggerated as yours!"

The two throws out an answer, and question routine until they reached the meeting hall. Upon entering they saw their classmates conversing with one another. They also saw several groups of students from another class.

Dylan scanned the hall with his eyes, and saw Dianne sitting in some corner accompanied by a cute girl. Sensing someone looking at her, Dianne followed her instinct, and saw Dylan.

Dianne nods slightly in greeting, of which Dylan returned with a nod and a smile. The interaction was quick to the point that ordinary people would fail to notice a thing.

But the ones inside the hall are not ordinary people, and noticed the short interaction. This is especially true considering that Dianne, was the school's #1 beauty.

Dianne's gesture surprised everyone inside. Known as the Ice Goddess, she is known for her cold personality. Yet here she is taking the initiative to greet someone, and this certain someone is a guy to boot!

But once they saw who the guy is they finally understand who he is. Thus a touch of understanding appeared on their eyes.

Dylan did not care that his action was noticed. Not that he's trying to be discreet anyway. Of course not because he did not care, everyone will not too. Fatty Jing is one if the most outspoken person their is. Hence, he proceed to tease Dylan.

"Are you sure you're not in the wrong group? Shouldn't you be accompanying the goddess?"

Vivian, their class representative teases the moment they approached their group. The other members of the group did not let Dylan off too, and proceed to tease him.

Dylan could only sigh in exasperstion over this. But as he was about to retort, the principal, along with the other teachers—including thr coach—arrived.

The principal approaches the podium. After making sure that the microphone's working, he started his speech with a greetings.

He then proceed to congratulate everyone for being the top of their respective classes. Everyone inside.the hall listened attentively in respect to the principals position, despite the fact that the principal's being long winded.

After several minutes of boring speech, the principal finally arrived at the heart of the matter—the interschool competition. Seeing that he got everyone's attention, the principal dropped a bombshell.

"Two months from now, the interschool competition will officially begin. To make sure that our academy will have better performance compared to the previous years, I, the principal have gone my ways to get the best training ground for you all."

The principal stopped talking after saying such. Instead he observed the students who looked at him with anticipation, and impatient. Noticing that their curiousity are intensified the principal finally dropped the bomb.

"For one week... everyone here will have the chance to enter... the Sanctuary!"
