Purple Majesty
In the meadow, green, off the side of the old paved road, I spotted this flock of deep purple wildflowers. They rest in a lower recess of the meadow and are partially shaded by the larger fruit trees. They appear to be Spring blooms that require more water than others. In other places of the camp they are sparse. This patch was so large it sucked me right in.
Here is a picture of the purple majesty from earlier this month, in a patch of wild mustard, pre-bloom.
