pushing ignorance finally
found the light of the good creation of life,
it is the same Qur'an !

'পড়, তোমার প্রভুর নামে;
যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাকে জমাটবাঁধা রক্ত,
আর, নিষিক্ত ডিম্ব থেকে।
অতঃপর, শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন কলমের দ্বারা
অপার জ্ঞানের কথা- আগে জানতে না তুমি যা'।'
এই ছিলো সে-ই বাণী,
মানুষের পৃথিবীতে, মানুষের জন্য জানি;
অন্তহীন জ্ঞানের আকর- পবিত্র কোরান যার নাম।
অজ্ঞতাকে দূরে ঠেলে আলোর দিশারী হয়ে
বিজ্ঞানময় জ্ঞান-ভাণ্ডার মুক্তবুদ্ধির পথে
দিয়েছে প্রদীপ জ্বেলে মানুষের পৃথিবীতে, মানুষের তরে।
বৈষয়িক আর আত্মিক জীবনে এসে
কোরান গেঁথেছে এক সূত্র, পার্থিবতায় স্বর্গীয় সুখ।
জীবনের যতো জট আছে, জটিলতাময়-
শাররীক অথবা মনের, অর্থনৈতিক, যৌনতা,
প্রবৃত্তির দাসত্বের পণ্যের আসক্তি;
সব কিছু হয়েছে বিলীন কোরানের ছোঁয়া পেয়ে।
চিরায়ত সত্যকে সুস্পষ্টভাবে তুলে আনে
পরিতৃপ্ত জীবনের প্রয়োজনে, মানুষের মননের মাঝে;
এ সে-ই কোরান!
হাজার হাজার বছরের ধর্মান্ধতা,
পিতৃপুরুষের কুসংস্কারকে চুরমার করে ভেঙ্গে ফেলে,
অন্ধকার বৃত্তকে ডিঙিয়ে
মুক্তবিশ্বাসের অমিয় আলোকধারা ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছে যে সকল বাণী,
আমরা তা' জানি।
অবিদ্যা-সন্ত্রাস-শোষণ-জুলুম আর হিংসা-রক্তপাতের অঙ্গনে,
শিশু ও নারী নির্যাতনে নিমজ্জিত মানুষেরা
সত্য ও ন্যায়ের মূর্ত প্রতিকের দুর্দমনীয় আদর্শিক
জাতিসত্তায় বিকশিত হলো যে বাণীর আদর্শে,
অজ্ঞতাকে ঠেলে ফেলে অবশেষে
জীবনদৃষ্টির শুভ সৃষ্টির অমিয় আলো খুঁজে পেলো,
এ সে-ই কোরান!
সারা পৃথিবীর মানুষের জীবন বিধান।
