How did we get home?

in #esteem6 years ago

As you already know, I and my family went on a long journey to my homeland. I wanted to show them where I was born and where my happy years of childhood passed. This is the village of Kivsharivka in the Kharkiv region. Our way passed through all Ukraine and made 1500 kilometers. We decided to go by train and afterwards very much regretted it. We did not take tickets for the return journey. We wanted to poke a little bit from my grandmother, who lives there (my dad's mom). Therefore, we decided to buy tickets later. During our visit there was an unpleasant situation. This is a personal and difficult topic for me. On June 9th, we were on the street. There were no hotels in this village. That world is not without good people. We stayed overnight with my girlfriend since childhood. 10th on Sunday, we woke up and began our long journey home. There were no train tickets. All places for the next two weeks were busy. We decided to get by any transport. But one and a half thousand kilometers this is not a close road, and it is very difficult to find a direct connection. First we went to the bus station in the city of Kupyansk. It is about 17 kilometers from the village of Kivsharivka. At the car hire, the dispatcher told us that there are no free places in the bus to Kyiv and Kharkiv. Then we heard the driver of one car asking people to go with him to Kharkiv. It was expensive, but nothing left and we went.

The path from Kupyansk to Kharkiv was 120 kilometers. We arrived in Kharkiv at about four o'clock in the evening. There were also no train tickets from Kharkiv to Uzhhorod. We thought of going through the city of Kiev, and to Kiev all places were occupied. We started to look for a hotel. For one day almost nobody wanted to settle. After two hours of searches, we still found the hotel. We reached the hotel quickly. By the way, in Kharkov I lived several years in my adolescence. We settled in a hotel, took a shower and went to look for a store with products. We were very hungry. Fortunately the store was nearby. We bought the products, ate and fell asleep.

The next day, June 11, we woke up, breakfast and began to go home on the Internet. And we were very fortunate. It was 11th on the Internet that train tickets to Uzhgorod appeared on the Internet. This train travels only on odd numbers, so we saw tickets only on June 11. Tickets were very expensive, because the seats were only in the luxury coupe. But we were happy to come back home. We went to expect train to train station.

At the station we were already at 12 o'clock in the afternoon, and the departure of the train at 15:12. We put our belongings in the luggage room and decided to walk a bit at the train station and the square in front of the train station. The station in Kharkov is very beautiful, I always liked it. My mom even once worked at the railway company at this train station.

Finally the train. We are going home. This was the most terrible journey in my life. I made a lot of conclusions for myself. Thank you to everyone who supported us these days. I wish you all happiness and good friends.
