Birthday Cake
One of my very sweet little cousins turned three not to long ago. Her family is from out of town but just so happened to be in town close enough to her birthday. So I thought I'd take the chance and make her a very special birthday cake. Just like all little girls she loves her birthday and loves getting to be a little princess, yet this little princess loves her sweets especially her M&M's. I started to search and hunt for the perfect idea for birthday cake for this little girl.
After much searching aka pintrest, found the perfect cake!! This cake was very very easy to make and decorate :) I started by making just a simple chocolate cake, I had to make two and used bundt cake mold's for the cake. Then I made some simple white icing for the cake. Once the cake was cooled and cut into the number three, I began to ice the cake. Now for the important part, to place the M&M's on the cake. Believe it or not this was the hardest part trying to get a perfect line. I knew she could have cared less but that was not the point, I was determined to make it look at least decent.
In the long run she loved it!! It made her day at least from her facial expression I thought so. The cake tasted great as well so could not have asked for a better outcome :)
