After being summoned by the king, Matthew was asked by the king to seek audience with the silver dragon. The reason for it is because the silver dragon knows Matthew and most likely allows him to enter his lair. For his safety, the king assigned Aria and Boris as his guards much to his delight. He then left the castle along with Aria and Boris, and travel to the Silver Valley where the silver dragon lives.

To ensure that they won't be ambushed again and to save time, the trio took the shorter but harder path towards the Silver Valley. They trekked mountains and hills, crossed rivers and streams. After several days of travelling they finally reached the Silver Valley.

"We finally made!" Aria exclaimed with obvious relief.

The two guys nods their heads in agreement. They too are weary from the long journey—especially since they took a more difficult path to get there.

After a short respite, the trio went inside the Silver Valley, where they are greeted with the place's majestic and breathtaking scenery.

"How beautiful!" Aria can't help but exclaimed.

"The Silver Valley truly lives up to its reputation," said Matthew, astound.

"Indeed!" Agreed Boris.

Sighing, Aria can't help regret, knowing that they can't stay longer to admire the sceneries. "Too bad we're not here for a tour..."

"We can always return after defeating the black dragon," Matthew said carelessly.

Hearing his words, Aria blushes, obviously misunderstanding Matthew's intention. Seeing this, Boris can only shakes his head as he didn't have the heart to shake her dilusion.

[I guess it's better to just let nature take its course...] Thought Boris.

The trio didn't stay long to admire the view as they went inside the valley. Strangely, as if knowing their intentions, the Matthew and the others didn't encounter a single monster on the way. Before long, they reached the lair of the silver dragon.

As to not appear rude, Matthew declared his name and purpose at the entrance of the cave.

"I have been expecting you. You and your friend can enter," said the silver dragon good-naturedly.

"Thank you, lord silver dragon!" The trio answered.

Entering the lair, Matthew and the others scan the lair as they walk. The lair itself is just a huge cave deep in the mountain but there are crystals potruding on its walls and cellings that gives a mysterious glow. Thanks to it the lair looks magnificent. Despite their curiosity though, none of them dare to touch anything.

Before long, they reached the region of the lair where the silver dragon resides. There, they saw the silver dragon lying in the floor. The dragon's body is shines with silver lusters and is truly beautiful but was blemished by numerous wounds that started scabbing.

The silver dragon looked at the group with gentle eyes and asked them to make themselves comfortable.

Sitting on the floor, Matthew asked the dragon about his injuries. Sensing his concern, tge silver dragon tells Matthew thar his injuries are healing much faster thanks to the medicine concocted using the silver-winged dahlia. Hearing this, Matthew is relieved. He then told the silver dragon rhe purpose of their visit.
