A girl on Road!

This poem is composed by me, it is based on a alone girl's feelings walking on a road. Hope you all will like it.

One day,a girl was walking on the road,
The road was very dark in that extreme cold.
The girl was alone on that road.
Sound of her shoes was the only sound on that road.

The surrounding was looking like the Earth’s calmest sight,
That girl on road was looking fightenend in the moonlight.
After sometime,a group of boys started following her,
That girl was very nervous because of their behavior.

The boys were abusing and tried to touch her.
That touch was not like for their mother or sister.
The girl started crying and begged for mercy,
Those heartless creatures were still playing with her body.

India is a land of goddesses and women empowerment,
But that alone girl on road was suffering from sexual harassment.
Those monsters raped that girl on the road,
Can't even imagine the pain which she felt on that lonely road.

What is the condition of our Indian society?
Girls and women can't walk alone on the streets of towns and cities.
This is only because of their cheap and poor thinking,
Dear rapists,please leave those roses and change your thinking.

If you want to change the world,then change yourself,
Otherwise,girls and women will keep committing suicide by themselves.
O rapists, that girl can be your own sister,so control your acts.
Otherwise,you will learn to respect women by POSCO Act.
