In addition to the obligation to comply with work rules including hours of work specified and agreed with the company, each worker is also entitled to a work break. The work break is the time given by the company to rest or recuperate after doing the work at the appointed hour.

Not only that, on certain days of holidays such as Sundays or national holidays, workers also get the right to rest work where the company remains obliged to pay full wages to the workers. As with workers who have to enter at holiday time, companies are required to pay overtime pay.

In practice that occurs in some companies, the company provides work breaks to employees during lunch hours, which is between 12:00 to 13:00. However, this rule is not standard because there is also only give time rest for 30 minutes.

The rules concerning the amount of work breaks given by the company to its employees are governed by the Joint Working Agreement and the agreed Corporate Rules. This is because one of the contents of the Joint Working Agreement is to regulate Working Days, Working Hours, Rest and Overtime.

Because this break time is given to the company to determine the time, then the thing that must be followed by the rules is the time of rest work should not be given for less than 30 minutes after 4 hours of work.
