AFRICA TIME IS NOT NORMAL TIME

in #esteemapp5 years ago

We hear this saying all the time here. It is the only saying that makes any sense to why nothing gets done. Africa time is the time when someone decides to do some work. There are no exact time frames ,which allows one to just ignore the tasks at hand. The word NOW is a swear word and sounds like work.

Everything is done a little differently and to an outsider would frustrate you no end.Simple tasks will take days if not weeks to accomplish. Why you may ask is that they are scared of finishing the job and not having any work to do. Job securitry has been an issue for so long. The problem is they work so slowly that their jobs should be in jeopardy.

It is common to see certain things ,like 3 guys digging a hole doing road repairs. Three people but only one digs, one is the driver and the other is the supervisor. Doesn't make sense I know, but that is what happens.

I was going to write about the staae of affairs with electricity here at the moment and had to make you guys understand why things don't work. Today we have been informed we should be back to normal by March.Blackouts till March are they insane? That is Africa time and could basically mean anything at this point. The longer it takes the more it will cost whatever they are doing so there will be more to cream off the top for the African hand shakes that will most likely happen.

Wow, we take a lot for granted here in the UK. I won't moan about small potholes in the road or the electricity going off once in a while from 10am - 4pm for essential maintenance. Looks like we have it pretty good after all!

Unfortunately I know what you mean. Thing are not very different over here. Discord is having server issues, look like they are not different either.

haha! I like that cup cryptoandcoffee! What a strange way to do business. It seems like foreign companies would have to be unusually patient.
