What is Ethereum?
For those not in the know, Cryptocurrency was created by an unknown person (oooo scary) in 2009. In 2013 Vitalik Buterin took the crypto currency a thousand steps further by turning it into an opportunity to change the landscape of everything we do and how we do it.
In Layman's language Ethereum is kinda like the house on top of the foundations of crypto. The stabilising factor that is ensuring we get to build incredible opportunities through a system that is built to help every day people in as many ways as possible.
A computer program:

Open Source means that once the code has been accepted as part of the system, it's available for anyone to add to or use to create their own programs.

This means that there's constant improvement in the technology as the techies endeavor to fix the bugs and issues found through the use of the program.

My interest in Ethereum
I became intrigued by Crypto Currency or rather alternate currencies in around 2010 when I was introduced to a digital world where avatars carried on life, created business, built homes and even had relationships all trading in an alternate currency. Which was then traded back to your currency.
This anomaly has been of interest ever since, so in between a lot of other technology and life learning I've been keenly watching the growth of this incredible opportunity for humanity.
When I discovered Ethereum I was beyond excited at the opportunities it afforded us in changing systems, processes and protocols which no longer, if ever, served the greater population. When you see the vast numbers of ways in which the program that Vitalik -his team and the amazing contributors have created, can be used to benefit every single person on the planet and the planet itself, then you realise how valuable this young man is to society and, more importantly how vital to the movement of human ownership of self, this technology is.
What I love about Ethereum & Team
When I become passionately involved in something I tend to go to the place where it all begins. So I obviously found out where the Ethereum community, creators and teams 'hang out' online and spent time learning to know them, how they think, how they work and what their purpose is among the melee of what is fast becoming a frenzied play for the top spot in the Blockchain world. I've been involved in the Telegram groups, the Research arena, the Githubs and other discussion arenas.
I'm not always 100% sure what they're all talking about because much of the technology is way above me, but the gist of the conversations, the dedication to the love of and their purpose, individually and collectively inspired me to become a dedicated Ethereum supporter. Bottom line: They're Real Humans with a Real Purpose.
Ethereum's Purpose aligned with #Pi
Vitalik Buterin has always been very dedicated to the Purpose of Ethereum's capabilities to decentralise control in order to create a more equal society.
Without doubt, as he says in the video, Blockchain has the ability to disrupt and disturb many entities that were not working, have not worked and never will.
The value in Ethereum and Blockchain is that is is an 'easing in' of a system designed to benefit the majority whilst easing out the old system that benefited the few. So the change will come as a little shock to a few in the 'previously powerful' seats but they will soon accept, acknowledge and action accordingly.
By that I mean that Social Impact being the mainstay of the program to begin with, will automatically equalise those who were less concerned with social impact and more concerned with wallet impact, their own.
Blockchain has taken hold.
Blockchain is quickly going to become a mainstay program on which all new systems will be built. Those of us who've been dedicated to testing the limits of Blockchain's capabilities have found the opportunities are limitless . I've been watching it for a few years, investigating and researching the capabilities.
So what are the capabilities? Why is it so Important?
- Where banks are charging interest for money that belongs to you, Blockchain charges you nothing.
- Where contracts could be torn up, lost or changed before, Blockchain creates transparent and fraud free contracts.
- Where supply chains were cumbersome and tardy losing hours & $$, Blockchain creates a streamlined system that best benefits the grower and consumer.
- Where information was being used to gain large scale profits, Blockchain brings in owning your data and selling it as You choose, or not.
Among a million other use-cases, many of which directly benefit the planet, which show that there is always a better way of doing things.
I'm a massive fan of Ethereum as the Gas to beat in the crypto 'race' thanks to the dedication to it's continued development and improvements of the team, and everyone involved in the community who's contributions are essential to Blockchain continuing to prove it's capability as The Equaliser of society.
#Pi The merging of Technology and Daily Life to form a stable society
In creating the #Pi matrix and merging of technology I dedicated myself to understanding the most future savvy technologies available today. Ethereum quickly became the core of the system due to the foundations of a dedicated team, the continued focus on research and development as well as the Free giving of information. The projects bolted onto #Pi that are Ethereum and Blockchain based are then syncronised in their developments and updates.
#Pi is a standalone system that integrates and brings together everything that's needed to redesign the economic, social and lifestyle landscape into progressive, self sustained, self reliance.
