The PEP-E program (Planetary Emergency Protection of ETHEREUM)

The times are inviting a cryptocurrency community proposal for NASA to include an ETHEREUM node as part of a long-term cryptographically secured assets fault tolerance test program.

As the governments of the world seek to understand and apply cryptography/blockchain technologies, this kind of initiative seems warranted.

The ISS (International Space Station) is an appropriate situation for a continued implementation and study. It is likely an astronaut can appreciate involvement with situational application of cryptography and the higher level blockchain node protocols.

A secondary fault tolerance initiative can be deployed as an ESN (ETHEREUM Satellite Node). Were the ISS to experience a critical failure the satellite node would still be available.

ETHEREUM as a utility and store of value leave me with the impression that ETHER is not "riding along free". It's many devoted developers and users give it an air of continuity and efficiency. With ethical oversight by many at it's basis, the protocol responsible for what is being called Web 3.0 certainly earns ETHEREUM candidacy for inclusion to the task-list of an international space program.

A NASA funding, ETHEREUM based STO (Security Token Offering) can be initiated. The token would supply a funding basis for the continued maintenance and operation of ETHEREUM entity's space node fault tolerance implementations.
