While the two factors above are prominent benefits of CDRs, many other cost-saving features will also be materialized. Dividend allocations and stock splits will be simple tasks that would not only be cheap, but also very swift. Voting rights would also be easily actionable with the aid of smart contracts.

All in all, CDRs could pave the future of securities trade. They provide a secure means to allow the masses to access even the most expensive shares, while enabling low costs for all traders and investments.
