Shots fired! SHOTS FIRED!// Vitalik trash talking EOS/TRON/NEO
Vitalik is at it again. First he trashed ETC a few weeks ago when the hacking fiasco happened and now he is trashing projects like EOS, TRON and NEO.. You could say that even STEEM fits in the group of projects he mentioned..
Only difference is that STEEM isnt nearly as significant in the crypto space as any of these other projects. haha.
Buterin dispels the idea that claiming to run thousands of transactions per second (TPS) is the main success for a blockchain, he states when a blockchain project claims "we can do 3500 TPS because we have a different algorithm, what we really mean is we are a centralized pile of trash that only works because we have seven nodes running the entire thing".

I cant say.
What i do know is that when your project is no.3 in Market Cap you dont need to play nice. You can say TRON or EOS are trash and dont have to tweet the TRON hype beast and try to be his "friend".

I've read some information on PoW vs DPOS centralization and if you look at bitcoin there are a handful of pools that controls that make up a large majority of the Bitcoin network. The argument is that Bitcoin is no more centralized then running under 20 witnesses due to the centralization all the pools create.
Not saying he's right and not saying he's wrong.
Id wager that BTC is actually more centralized then STEEM for example. STEEM is experiencing divestment and redistribution from Steemit.inc (largest stake holder) while BTC will only get more centralized over time.
The 7 nodes comment is definitely a dig an NEO. Butterin in the past has directly told people listening to his speeches not to buy NEO.
