How Europe Day Was Celebrated. Happy Europe Day!!!

Europe day, otherwise known as Schuman day, is celebrated on the 9th of March every year. It is a day set aside for reflection on European Union (EU) integration, European identity and Schuman declaration. Although the Republic of Serbia is not yet part of the EU, there are moves towards its integration.
The European Movement In Serbia (EMINS)
As part of the celebrations for what is more like the national day of Europe, The European Movement In Serbia (EMINS) /'Evropski Pokret u Srbiji' (EPUS) organized a free open film show to mark the event. Below is an original 2- minute video clip of part of the French film subtitled in Serbian language,srpski.
Ingenuity of Two Brothers
The French film titled 'Limijer' is about two brothers Auguste and Louis Lumiere who were among the first film makers in history. They are celebrated for being innovative in creating cinematograph. The names of the 'Limijer' brothers are engraved in history books. What ingenuity!
We Got Gifts Too 😍🎁
Every adult who sat to watch the movie 'Limijer', in the spirit of celebrating EU day, got a lovely gift of a cream coloured blanket with the EU emblem imprinted on it. I was really glad to receive my gift and took a photo shot of it as seen below.
