What exactly is the HODL rally?

The HODL rally is a supercar rally that will last for 8 days and spans over 1800 miles in 8 cities and 5 countries! I should not forget to mention that it also includes 6 parties, 1 conference, a fashion show, a VIP super yacht party, a gala for charity and a James Bond - Black tie poker tournament. Last but not least, there's also a cocktail event at the Monte Carlo Casino in Monaco!

All this sounds like an event you don't want to miss if you have the possibility to be there!

The rally will go from London to Paris, followed by Geneva, and then to Barcelona for the Barcelona Blockchain Summit. After the Blockchain Summit the HODL rally will continue to Valencia and Ibiza.

What about the Barcelona Blockchain Summit?

During the 4th stop of the HODL rally that will last for 8 days, the W Hotel in Barcelona will be taken over for a two-day crypto and blockchain event. During this event some of the top speakers and experts in the crypto and blockchain world will be welcomed. It's the perfect opportunity to do some networking while enjoying yourself at the events that are organized. All of this will take place in sunny Barcelona with the stunning views on the Mediterranean Sea.

5:30pm – Take off Montpellier Beach to Barcelona
8:30pm – Arrive in Barcelona

As you can see there are a lot of things going on during the days in Barcelona. Are you going to the HODL rally or the Barcelona Blockchain Summit? I would love to read if you are, and I hope that you want to share your experiences on Steemit so others can read about the event.

For what I've read about the event so far, it's mainly focussed on people with a lot of cryptocurrency to spend. For example, the buy in for the poker tournament is 1 BTC, which the average person will not have to spend. I expected it to be an expensive event though, looking at the fact that they will be in Monaco and Ibiza, which aren't the cheapest places in the world to be. I hope that one day a similar event will be available for those that don't have thousands of dollars to spend only to participate in a poker tournament. So if you are interested, please do some further research if this event is something you can afford. If you do, I wish you a wonderful time, because I'm quite sure that it will be an event you will never forget!
