Exchange Transfer Report: 6/3/2018 to 6/9/2018

in #exchangereport6 years ago

USD values are calculated per day via API feeds from Cryptocompare (for STEEM and SBD values in BTC) and Coindesk (for USD value of BTC). For the top 50 reports in USD terms, I take the average USD value for STEEM and SBD for the week using the daily closing price which came out to:

  • STEEM: $2.33023
  • SBD: $16.79589*

Previous Report:

  • STEEM: $2.36459
  • SBD: $1.71397

Assumptions

Please see the first report for a detailed explanation of my personal assumptions related to what this data could mean (along with commentary on previous reports). What it does not show is people powering up, powering down, or if they are buying or selling on an exchange. It's just some interesting data dealing with transfers to and from exchange accounts.

Linked Accounts

hitbtc includes hitbtc-exchange and hitbtc-payout, freewallet.org includes freewallet, openledger includes openledger-dex, binance includes binance-hot and deepcrypto8, upbit includes upbit-exchange and myupbit, gopax includes gopax and gopax-deposit, and huobi includes huobi-pro and huobi-withdrawal.

Commentary

  • The SBD price on the report this week is a bit messed up, so I'll have to dig in to what happened there (the price was pumped up high on on June 6th).

  • Take a look at @valueup and how much SBD they send to Upbit. Quite interesting. Could this be the account doing the SBD pumps?

  • The top deposit this week is over $140k and seems to be related to @tumutanzi somehow.

  • Over $4M went out to exchanges this week (4x more than last week).

  • The withdrawal to deposit ratio is down again to 2.67 from 3.01 last week (2.67 accounts withdrawing for every 1 account depositing).

  • There is 12.12% less Steem Power powering down this coming week compared to lass week.

well detailed info @lukestokes
thumbs up for that
but the sbd price on the 6th was kind of a glitch in the system, meanwhile i haven't still understood how the sbd on hitbtc got there cause i have been trying to deposit to that exchange since January

Thanks for this information @lukestokes
Indeed the price of sbd this week is a mess😥😥😥😥

This is good information, thank you for your diligent work. I always knew there was a reason my my witness vote! @ironshield

Thank you for your support.

Really you are geving a very good information sharing with us " thanks for this post

Good report friend, has been very helpful

Nice analysis. Sbd seems to be on a manipulators scale. But @lukestokes whats the cause of increase in the price of sbd in hitbtc?

Manipulators.

Thanks bro. I guess right

Hi @lukestokes ! The SBD price wasn't HITBTC pump due to their block to deposit and withdraw?

Thanks for the report!

Regards, @gold84

Hey Luke, This is off subject because it is about EOS.

I need help delegating power through cleos .

I keep seeing "buyrambytes" and "dwlegatebw" but I can't figure out how they are executing that? Can you help?

Update: it looks like it is "cleos system delegatebw" and "cleos system newaccount" . I'm going to have to play with it more. There are all these people registering all these accounts and I'm freaking out seeing the accounts I wanted going by. I still have some interesting ones I'm trying to snag.

Ugh. Account squatting is not a good thing, IMO. Glad you got it figured out... I guess?

Yeah I finally got it figured out. It wasn't easy because I kept having to play with the amount of ram to "purchase" to get it to execute. I only registered 25 accounts so far because a lot of the ones I was going to get got snagged up while I was going down the list. I'm going to try to do about 20 more and see if I can get those. You can only really do the 12 letter usernames at this time because I guess they are going to do some sort of bidding process on the other length ones.

I'm a little mixed about if registering these accounts will be profitable or advantageous in the future for EOS or STEEM. For EOS I think it could be possibly but it is hard to sort of tell what the future holds.

As far as it not being a good thing it is really hard to say for sure. It could bring more value to the EOS blockchain because of the limited amount of meaningful usernames with the length of 12 characters or under. So suddenly businesses can develop buying and selling these usernames where that doesn't really exist with Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero.....etc

The more business / micro businesses surrounding the EOS economy the better in my opinion because it bring increased attention to the ecosystem.

Your topic is really interesting and helpful for people like me who really don't know and beginners in this community thanks for your post love it
