Back in the swing

I just finished a 5.938km running that lasted about 0hh:40mm:36ss !

This dirty box of organic veg appeared just before I started out on my run this morning. What an incentive to work hard and get back for some heavy scrubbing and peeling!

I chose to take the University route today. I haven't done it for a while. It includes hills. But it felt good to be doing the same intervals on different terrain. When I repeat it on the same route, I notice that I'm anticipating the signal to switch down to a walk. Today I just did what was next on the agenda and listened out for the beeps. And I explored the back of some of the academic buildings too, I was feeling like shaking it all up.

The weather's changed too. It's distinctly chillier and gloomier.

But the run feels good after a few days off. Ankle stiff but not sore and comfortably kept going for forty minutes.
