Crypto is what makes me want to get up in the morning.

I got up very early today.

Baggy eyes and all that.

Why? Every morning I like to do my round of crypto related stuff.

Check the crypto news and the markets but mostly to check on Steem and write a post too.

But my brother asked me to help him this morning and well that interferes with the normal routine :)

He needs some help with his internet connection and pulling some wires in his house.

Because it's family I don't mind.

But every-time I'm doing the work I'm happy that I no longer have to do it on a daily basis. (I used to have an IT business).

I just don't love IT as much as I used to.

I can't explain how different this feeling is when I think about crypto.

It's what makes me want to get up in the morning.

Bianca sometimes calls me nuts when I get up at 5 am because I feel like making coffee and read.

Sometimes I'm not sure if it's passion or obsession.

Admittedly living of crypto is not as easy as I thought it would be.

The markets crashing as much as they did was a real eye opener and a great life lesson.

That buffer in Fiat that I build before making the decision of living on the blockchain is what's keeping me afloat.

It's now buying me the time that I need to build the future.

I know the markets will reverse at some point and in crypto fashion I believe it will be a fast move.

Probably out of the blue.

But they will take you to the edge of insanity first :)

Being on board when the reversal happens is key. But when will it happen....

That's the problem. The money you have on board now you can't spend.

I don't even want to spend the STEEM I generate on a daily basis with these prices.

I power everything up.

This is a time to accumulate not to spend.

It's scary at times but also exciting.

But I wouldn't want to have it any other way.

I get a sense that you're feeling pretty darn alive these days! You have a deep longing for being on the leading edge of the new age! You've a very entrepreneurial attitude. Hoping the project for your brother goes well! And, after i get my investment into crypto during this bearish market then let the bulls rage! Haha!! What a journey!!

Lately I'm feeling a lot of things I must admit. I do love blockchain and I don't want anything else but to be part of it. I hope you get your investment sorted!

Passion or Obsession? Probably a mix of both. I know what that is like, but hopefully you can steer it more towards passion.

I am excited, I just found out I had $5000 in stocks that I didn't know about. I'm cashing them out, and I'll need about half for living expenses but I'm going to average cost the other half into crypto! :-D finally a real investment!

Not a bad find! Good luck with your investment!

You are quite right. This is the time to work more to get more steem in savings. Because it is not worth it spending the steem at the price steem is now. I also believe very soon, the market value will rise exponentially and those who have saved more steem at this time the price is down will be the one to gain or profit rather much when the market value goes up.

Mark @exyle Now this is Honesty. SteemMonsters is Your PASSION !

Very true words! I am pretty much powering up everything I don't spend on Steem Monsters as well. How close are you to your next SP goal? It was 200,000 wasn't it? I'd have to think you should be getting pretty close by now. I am hoping to get at least one or two more purchases in before the price starts to go back up. Like you said, these prices are just too good to pass up!

No goal at the moment. Just stacking what I can earn. Waiting for markets to find direction. I got plans for both scenario's.

If I hadn't already spent some of my "allowance" :) this month on STEEM I would have totally bought some more today. That seventy cent price point is pretty tempting. I look forward to the day that all of my stacking really pays off. More than it does every day I am on the platform that is!

I can relate with you for sure but I am still a couple of years behind guven my late start. However, I already can envision a time that I can also live off of blockchain and crypto given the amount of development that continues to grow around the technology. For now, I am investing in mysef with knowledge to be able to more quickly adapt to market changes and opportunity like the one now with Steem at this price.

@exyle, Yes, in my opinion also in Crypto it's all about the fast move and we never know when the tables will be turned. And in my opinion there should be some work in our life which gives meaning to us after waking up and in my opinion in life Sometimes life choose different path for us and we land and hold passion for something we never thought about and other work stays for the past and left behind. Enjoy the Steem Coffee everyday.

Wishing you an great day and stay blessed. 🙂

As much as you and probably everyone would hate to do this @exyle, I recommend that you cash out the rewards you receive and just hold on to your major position of 150,000 Steem.

This isn't financial advice as much as it is life advice. If you are actually cashing out something the 'insanity' you mention will probably decrease a little bit, and it's not like you will not be a mega millionaire, or billionaire with the Steem you've already accumulated.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I will be delegating @emaferice's share to @share2steem and I will actually cash out all the rewards that she receives. I want her to feel like she is earning something aside from just a number on a screen.

@zaclucasrice's rewards will be used to power up since I don't want to take what I have allotted for him and I will power-up all of my rewards @chrisrice but I am not living entirely off Steem, I have another source of income.

I can relate to the insanity you mentioned since I traded penny stocks when I was in my late teens. I had a lot of savings and money invested and the swings and bear markets were a lot like the crptocurrencies we see today.

I don't consider it to be healthy or pleasant but at the time I enjoyed it. Take care of yourself @exyle and remember, I am not saying this based on what will make you the most money but based on what will probably be best for your health (i.e. mental & emotional health).

In the end though, it's just another opinion from one of your followers but I wish you the best. Good luck to all of us!

Thanks for the advice! But I don't want to cash out at these prices m8! If anything I'm looking to adding more. I know selling helps with the insanity, but this is not the time to sell. It's the time to accumulate.

It might have happened anyways but back in 2004 I made a rash decision in the stock market and ended up losing a lot of money. It's more complicated than that but that's the just of it @exyle.

The insanity of it all probably contributed to me acquiring a mental illness which has affected my health ever since. I don't regret any of it since it is the life I chose and I am fine with medication now but I wanted to point out that the insanity you refer to has real affects on a person's health.

Minus good health and peace of mind, I agree that it's time to accumulate. Just make sure to take care of yourself and consider meditation and stress relief tactics.

It is a wild ride in crypto and I know what it's like!

Yeah i know the feeling. I had a it business too. I went back to an zzp elektricien, after a week ago when the guy in charge said ah i got an app with a picture and a poem. Thats not an excuse to come 2 hours later. It was a card from a friend who died. So i packed my stuff and went home. I have a buffer for two months. A year ago i said i am working till july then i want a year sabbatical to heel. But then i lost all my savings in crypto with bitconnect.

Good to hear that you doing better then me.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I hope the future will bring you better things.

Thank you. We will see. 😊

Yes right bro crypto is what that make us wakeup in morning.
