Oh man, I saw that after posting. I had the reply almost typed, but then something came up so I had to leave. When I hit reply it was already too late. :P
There was a spiritual successor just released btw called Blood & Truth. It started out as a Getaway game, but ended up being a VR title, so they re-titled it and created a new VR franchise with the same vibe. I also made a playthrough video out of it if you're interested in seeing what a modern The Getaway game looks like ;)
