New steemconnect software is going to help steem posting integration into more websites making steem a viable option for Facebook, who is paying its employees in it's new crypto.
This is a great opportunity to set steem up as the PERFECT blockchain for Facebook to either Buy/Partner with/utilize/fork and either one will bring steem more power money and glory than we could ever imagine. And Facebook has a history of buying up potential competitors like Instagram, even if they arent doing so well financially, in fact that could be @ned s strategy to keep steem in a state perfect for someone to buy out from him...
Many people are speculating EOS will have to be used to scale FACEBOOK as a social media dapp, but steem still has a chance with it's new steemconnect software .
As you can see with steemconnect you will be able to create comment posts and embedded into many more websites even if they arent steem front ends. This was the promise of @ned and his older now defunct idea of SMTs made years ago, now replaced BY Smt lite, but @finallycomments tried to deliver but failed, no one used it, not their fault but it was a failure like most things on steem because of a lack of users because ned refuses to market steem and grow it... AND ned could use his @steem and @steemit accounts for free instant account creation...
So it's great to see a new solution with steemconnect and their Demo with vue.js which I will now hype up more than it needs
Just like @vessel now @steemconnect has a DESKTOP app and just like @keychain by @yabapmatt steemconnect now has a chrome/brave browser extension (like ethereum has with metamask)
This is the future of social media and of face book wants to pay its users AND employees in it's new global coin project libra then we should be competing with EOS to provide a dapp infrastructure for Facebook that costs them a lot less than EOSIO

Here is the CNBC report from 4 days ago about how Facebook wants to pay its employees in it's own cryptocurrency than you Know they plan on keeping it stable enough to use as currency. Why would it fail? Let's join in and make as much money as as can for the steem blockchain using this new global coin. K believe users will get this coin they can either hold like a stake in Facebook stock or you can sell it for bitcoin etc, and I'd love to see every steemian with a Facebook account able to buy a few hundred dollars worth of steem, pumping us to high heaven! It will be just like the @byteball attestation airdrop!
