Freedom of speech is suppressed in all possible ways. Not sure what the 11/11 will bring but it will be for sure impacting our fundamental rights. FB has been bringing down lot of stuff and so do the other social media, its all a big game and against that we small communities need to joun hands and come together strongly
Facebook has deleted all these hundreds of accounts but when you go to google, you can find absolutely nothing about it.
All the Facebook and google talk this morning has Steemit pretty exciting, my feed is full.

Which is fine and within their right. They are a publicly traded company.If I started to plaster a My Little Pony site run by hasbro with porn or hate speech or what ever and they took it down would they be limiting free speech. No. Same thing here.

Thank you for the update, Jeff. This is crazy shit but not unexpected. Happening on 10/10/2018 though is surprising. That date was circling around for a while now but in regards to the world currency.

FB is not the U.S. government. Just give it up already guys.
Actually FB is acting for the US (and other) governments. They've been dragged before congress and they promised to do more. Now they're doing it. The spirit of the government suppressing freedom of expression is in full force, regardless of technicalities.
Then we don't need FB now do we? Welcome to Steemit!
It started with the fact that commenting was no longer possible on the conventional news sites. At least not for the relevant topics.
Good thing that we have blockchain - it's the best cure from censorship.
Facebook and Google need to save face in the eyes of some of the public, politicians and conventional media. 800 accounts does not seem like a whole lot. I really wonder where FB stands in comparison to Fox, CBS, NBC etc.
