Top Execs Flee Facebook: Chief Product Officer, WhatsApp CEO Both Quit; Stock Tumbles
The barbarians are at the gate.
This is the situation Facebook sees itself in. The last couple days did not go well for the company. The social media giant continues to find itself in hot water over its data security. On top of that, it suffered an outage of all its properties in what they terms a "server outage".
We now find out two top executives abruptly quit the company. This led to the stock tumbling.
Executives leaving, especially in the tech industry, is not uncommon. These are highly sought after people. The timing is rather questionable considering all that is going on.
