Presence of Divine Help

We just had a Seminar three days ago, where we learnt about the
immanence &
transcendence
of God,
and how these two doctrines must go hand in hand -

how God's nearness &
God's greatness
must be fully grasped,
not one without the other,
but both experienced synergistically
in true worship.

Isaiah 57:15 beautifully teaches this: For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

God is the high and lofty One,
set apart from all the creatures He made,
and yet He deigns to dwell with us,
be near the souls that humbly seek Him.

This is simply wonderful to think upon. (':
