When we are playing with the child, it is necessary to convey that we are having a good time, that we are sharing, that we have to know how to win and lose. Even this event is so important that as parents we control the reactions, if he wins not to praise excessively, and if he loses he does not ridicule the loser. Thus, we are making the activity as normal as it is, sharing and forming at the same time.
Now, what happens when the child has to socialize with other children in the park, the field can become a battlefield. Which is why you have to teach the child, who does not always win, to reinforce that the important thing is to share and enjoy the moment.
Teach them how to win and lose:
- When you get angry because you lose, you have to remove it from the game until it calms down.
- Teaching the child that his negative reactions when he loses drives his playmates away.
- In the game there are rules and rules that must be respected.
- That you have to win or lose in a clean way, without cheating.
- If he wins, he should not humiliate the loser.
- Remember that the child copies patterns, for example: if the father sees his football match and his team is losing, he should not be shouting or insulting, the child learns by example.
