Basically it's an excuse for the kids of all our surrounding villages to come together and dress up however they like so they can run around the village dancing to loud music. My two went with the pirate look.

Esteban danced like a nutter and got very hot before the traditional sugar fest part of the day. Nutella filled pancakes and smarties. Why can't they just give them pieces of fruit?

Luna was a bit lost with all those other kids around, bless her. Our village is normally very quiet with a population of just 300 most of whom are over the age of 60.

She did at one point try to make friends with this little girl but doesn't yet understand that she must speak french to interact with the other children here. Yep, the other little girl clearly didn't speak english and quickly moved on.

Esteban on the other hand was in his element running around with the other kids without any need for introductions. Just straight on with the fun!

What did I wear for my outfit?

Erm... just a moustache.

Which kinda grew on my as the day proceeded.
