In the summer, we love to hike in the Red River Gorge located inside the Daniel Boone National Forest. This is our favorite trail that we hike several times each summer. If you are ever visiting Eastern Kentucky...Rock Bridge Trail is where it's at!!!!

This trail is pretty uninhabited in the mornings and through the week. We try not to be there during busy days.
That is the ONLY time it is acceptable...well that and holding your purse/bag when needed!

I'm familiar with the Nat Park but not that specific trail, that waterfall
is amazing. the most amazing part of that video though? Farmer Bo with the PINK backpack!
He's a good sport haha! That trail is only like 1.5 miles. A couple weeks ago we did 5 miles on a new trail. But this one is fun and so much to do.

yeah tell the Farmer that being a Farmer and anything pink just
doesn't go normally but he pulled it off fairly well somehow!
They did! We stop and take breaks and as long as they have food and water they are like energizer bunnies. Makes for a night they get to sleep pretty quickly!
lol! yeah wear them out and send them to bed early so ya'll can have some peaceful time together!

Haha! Didn't he look excited! lol I love a good sandwich after being really hungry. There were no leftovers for the kids either...and they ate an entire bag of chips and an apple each!
Hiking built up an appetite! We used to take our kids on hikes and mystery tours every weekend when they were younger! Great family times.

They love it! It has a rock bottom creek that goes all through the gorge. It's so beautiful!
