#dadslife - Saturday morning mini-rugby.
So today we started 1/2pint playing Wales' number 1 sport - RUGBY. There really is a drive to get youngsters involved in the game and experienced coaches give up their mornings to teach the next generation of superstars the basics..
It was a struggle at first to get young 1/2pint to participate. As out going as he is, in typical child fashion, it took a lot of convincing to get him to take part. A few words of encouragement from his number 1 fan (mum) and we were good to go. I was already getting involved as I have been looking forward to getting my boy in to rugby since the day he was born.
Once he got in to it, there was no stopping him!! Now, we've known for a while that 1/2pint was going to be a "big boy"..... He's only 3 & a half but was mixing it up with 5 and 6yr olds. I definitely think we might have a future Welsh international on our hands.
So remember the name "1/2pint" he might be famous one day!!

I loved it when they were that age playing tag rugby, it gets a bit tougher to watch when they are 12 years old, playing open side flanker and having to put their heads in places where its going to hurt. Makes me wince regularly!
