Not surprising

This is one of those stories that makes you angry but doesn’t surprise you.

The breakdown of the story. Man working as Child support worker (foster parent) was taking the money from the government for kids, Spending the money on himself and sending the kids out to fend for themselves.

Government is in trouble because the people that over see the program didn’t check on him.

So why is this not surprising?

Because when you talk to the government workers who over see any programs... they point out that shrug

Literally. As long as their books are balanced they actually don’t check on anybody or anything; and based on personal experience they just stare at you.

Meanwhile these kids are left in the cold and alone.
