CPS supporting Islam against Westernized mothers.

There is a very long and sad case history about a Muslim woman who was born in the United States, lived here until the age of nine years, and then was suddenly shipped into a fundamentalist Muslim lifestyle in the Middle East. The full details of this very sad case can be found here:

Briefly, this woman, Khlood Salah, has been through one of the longest running, most convoluted, and saddest CPS nightmares of anyone exposed to"Child Protection" "Services" about whom I have ever heard. Because she spent nine years of her entire formative life in the liberal West, she was totally ill-equipped to submit to the fundamentalist lifestyle when she was married off to an abusive Muslim man at the age of fourteen. She eventually escaped from him, and returned to her parents home in Jordan but her father called the husband and gave his own daughter back, despite the obvious physical and mental abuse.

But that was only the beginning of her nightmare. When the husband emigrated with her to the USA she managed to escape again, and fortunately for her, her two children were also granted to her because she was obviously the better caregiver. But that is where the good news v.v. CPS ended. The father of her children, despite the correct and proper divorce decree and the properly-conducted custody hearing, decided he wanted a new wife. So, he went to CPS with concocted stories about Khlood, after he was already known to have purchased the replacement wife, and that he wanted to get the children back just so he could get his new wife admitted to the USA because she was "needed."

Khlood Salah's problems with CPS from that point on read like a dystopian novel, and there are many other points of CPS corruption, malfeasance, and ludicrous violations of court procedure and due process to talk about. But, we are going to focus solely on this point in the story--where a fundamentalist Muslim was permitted to receive custody of children that had been previously adjudicated over to his American-born secularized wife.

How does this happen? Again, we need to look into the overall CPS "culture." Salah's husband was wealthy. He was able to hire "good" lawyers. He was a "disadvantaged minority" whose religion needed to be "respected" (i.e. coddled) and so despite the fact that almost no American-born male would have ever succeeded in such a ruse against a competent and loving mother, this guy got what he wanted. Wow.

This is not the first situation where American standards of justice have been twisted by CPS to suit "the needs" of protected minorities. And why not, when the CPS culture is all about abuse of power, and shows little to no regard for American legal and Constitutional procedure to begin with? The problem, of course, is that when CPS puts its liberal/left ideologies into play above everything else (except maybe their profit motives) children suffer. It certainly is NOT the province of my tax-funded federal government to enforce Muslim fundamentalism within this nation's borders.

Giving CPS the power to be the arbitrator in such cases is sheer lunacy. Their infamous level of incompetency is just the starting point as to why this can not be allowed to continue. Kudos to the writer of the article cited above for decrying the fact that, as bad as this situation was, THAT NOTHING CHANGED AS A RESULT of this travesty. That, despite the struggles and tragedy of this American mother and her children, is the greatest travesty of all.

We simply need to get this situation addressed. I used to be a person who routinely poo-poohed people's concerns about the potential rise of Islamic or "Sharia" Law within the borders of the United States. It seemed to me, a decade ago when I first began to hear about such "conspiracy theories," that such a thing could never happen here, and when it comes to our major forms of government...i.e. the three-part federal balance of power, our official court structures, etc., it is still not all that likely to become an OPEN and admitted problem. However, with the lack of control within departmental branches, it is clear that it CAN and IS already happening, surreptitiously, if not openly. CPS/DHHS is the one place where it is most likely to become a common phenomenon, especially in areas of the country where there is a strong Muslim presence.

Sorry to have to drop yet another CPS issue on you all this morning. But this does bare watching. How sad is it that we are supposedly combating Islamic extremism through our military (and via the black ops budge of the CIA, FBI, etc.) overseas, and yet we are coddling those same ideologies now right here in our own back yard.
