One of your worst CPS nightmares...EVER...The Cook family of Cleburne, Texas.

There are dozens of truly heartbreaking stories about CPS/DHHS ABUSE of innocent parents and children...the very people we all pay them to help. Horrific stories of sexual, physical and emotional abuse by CPS/DHHS caseworkers and "foster" parents jam the internet. Some children have literally wound up DEAD because of family interventions.

The story of Angel and David Cook of Texas may top them all. First, this is a totally innocent GOOD SAMARITAN family that had their good deeds thrust upon them. They did not ask to be foster parents. They took in the subject child without receiving a request from anyone but the desperately drug-ridden sister who could not care for him. They received ZERO state assistance, including the very generous money from the state/fedgov that many foster parents receive; and yet, they were severely punished for being good people.

Some, to this day, say the Cooks are lying and that they somehow contributed to little Buddy's death. Look at her eyes as she speaks. Look at the husband who took on a second job to pay the legal bills slapped on them by the state. Do you see any hint of dishonesty in either of them?

The brief summary of the facts are these:

1. The Cooks ran into this woman while at a park, and saw the child was acting oddly and being mistreated.
2. They asked the woman what she was going to do to help the boy, and she pleaded with them to take him.
3. They did take Buddy with them back to their home, and immediately called Texas CPS.
4. They made sure all the bruises on the body were notated carefully by CPS, including the anal warts that were clearly indicative of pedophile abuse.
5. The boy was sickly and extremely underweight while they had him, but they did succeed in getting him better and in gaining some weight.
6. He later died one morning from YTBD reasons, even though the medical examiner originally called it "homocide" (from starvation) and later recanted.
7. CPS refused to go back and look at THEIR OWN RECORDS about their initial contacts, apparently lost them, AND THE AGENT WAS NOW GONE OR UN-LOCATABLE.
8. The new CPS caseworker refused to listen to any evidence that was true, and took their other children.
9. While in state custody, at least three of the Cook's own children were abused, some sexually.
10. While the children were later returned to the family, severe damage has been done to them and their own children simply for being Good Samaritans.

Talk about an absolute TRAVESTY!! There is no better instance that I know about of the absolute tyranny, inefficiency, cruelty and incompetence of "social workers" than this one.

"Patrick Barkman, an attorney who represented the Cooks as they tried to regain their children, said the state’s investigation was a sham. 'The investigation consisted of talking to the CPS worker and the foster-care family,' Barkman said. 'They both said nothing happened so nothing happened. That was the sum total of their investigation. I don’t know of any CPS investigation against a family that would be handled that way.' Barkman also said that although the parents have been cleared of criminal wrongdoing, the damage is done. 'There are still black marks against them,' Barkman said. 'They’ve received death threats. People are still shooting off their mouths online. And there is no place for these parents to go to get their good name back. 'And we may never know what really killed Buddy.”'

See, this is where we are at in libtard, socialist, neighbor-v.-neighbor, modern Amerika. We have GOT to get laws passed to strictly reign in the authorities' abilities to take children from parents, especially in cases where the evidence against them is so horribly flimsy (i.e. NOTHING) as it was in this case. I mean, the COOKS CALLED CPS and the medical people. What "guilty" parents would have done that?

The evidence of criminal negligence by the State of Texas here is OVERWHELMING. I wonder if the fact that the Cooks had a bunch of their own kids, and (not the 1.5 that the Chicom sympathizers in CPS think families should be allowed) played into it. I wonder if their Christian beliefs, or homeschooling, or weapons in the home, were unspoken "markers" that made them targets of governmental abuse.

It is DEFINITELY getting that way, folks, and there is no sign of things getting any better any time soon.
