Kareem Hunt Placed on Commissioner's Exempt List; OUT Indefinitely

Big news for fantasy football owners who had Kareem Hunt on their teams...looks like he is out for the rest of the season. Apparently there was a video of Hunt shoving and kicking a woman that occurred last February. Police had to be called to the scene to a hotel in Cleveland. No arrests or charges were filed that day. However, it looks like things may have changed, and the video was sent to the NFL. As a result, Hunt has been placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt list.

Hunt being on the Commissioner's Exempt list means that he can no longer play with Chiefs, train, or even attend NFL games. The NFL is currently reviewing the incident that happened last February. There is an ongoing investigation. This is all bad news for Hunt. The Chief's have officially dropped Hunt from their roster. Hunt had this to say, "I want to apologize for my actions. I deeply regret what I did. I hope to move on from this."

This is horrible news all around. Both in real life as well as for fantasy football. This comes one week before fantasy football playoffs. Hunt was on a high octane offense...the Kansas City Chiefs. Their team was putting up massive points on the board every week, and Hunt was a top RB1. Hopefully, as a Hunt owner you handcuffed with Spencer Ware. Ware will now get the starting role as the Running Back for the Chiefs.

I see Ware as an instant plug and play. You can start him confidently on your roster. He has RB1 potential. He is the kind of pickup that can greatly help your team during the playoff stretch. This is why it is important to always handcuff your stud RB's. If your RB goes down, then you will most likely have a safe replacement. If you didn't pick up Ware as a handcuff, then your team just a took a hit. You will have to find alternative running backs, and unfortunately, there are not many left at this point of the season.
