MY SMALL POULTRY BIRD FARM

Poultry birds can range from different birds which include; turkey, chicken, goose e.t.c, which are domesticated my humans for the general purpose of meat consumption and egg prodution.

Poultry farming is one of the fastest growing lucrative business in Nigeria and the world at large. Millions of poultry production (egg,meat) are consumed on daily basis and the workforce to ensure availability of this birds are few.

Over the years, as a young boy, i practices this form of agriculture and raise up chicken in my small farm, which i later sell when the birds are fully matured and income generated are used to support my family and education.

I have been a poultry farmer for the past 2 years now, and i can boldly say that poultry farming is i need a lucrative business, as it also courageous new farmers into the business.

The work labour in this form of agriculture is easy, as farmers are required to maintain the poultry house/pen twice a week and ensure adequate water supply and daily bird feeds.... failure to preform this!, would lead to the death of the birds.

As a young farmer, i encourage everyone to practice homestead, as agriculture would feed the world..... and over the years agriculture as remained the backbone of the economy.
