At some point in our lives we have planted some plants (fruits, vegetables or ornamentals) and let them grow only with water and sun. But, few have used the products that are used to thrive and develop faster. These products are known as fertilizers that are substances that contain nutrients that help plants to develop their development.
The use of these fertilizers dates back to ancient times, when farmers provided the soil with nutrients empirically.

Types of fertilizers:

The fertilizers can be: Organic or Inorganic.

Organic fertilizers: are those that come from animals or vegetables. The fertilizers of animal origin are those that come from slaughterhouses and / or fish merchants that are excellent, because their slow decomposition enriches the small humus that contains the soil where the sowing is. The resources of vegetal origin are the green residues that are composted or not in those that are great amount of elements like: nitrogen, phosphorus and calcium. This is the oldest practice in the use of fertilizers.
Inorganic fertilizers: are those industrial or mining products. There are many types of this type of fertilizer. These are classified according to their components and their physical state: solid or liquid.
It is also possible to find them in the function of their nutritive elements. These can be: *Simple Fertilizers* and *Compound Fertilizers*. The simple fertilizer is that composed of a single nutrient, these can be nitrogen, phosphate, potassium. The compound fertilizer is that the formula contains two or more nutrients that can be found among them: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium; one of the following secondary nutrients is present: calcium, magnesium and sulfur or micronutrients boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and / or zinc which are essential for the growth of the plants.
The application of fertilizers or fertilizers can be done directly on the ground through the water of the plants.
