HOW STEEM CAN FEED NATIONS THROUGH AGRICULTURE
Agriculture, the domestication of plants and animals, development and dissemination of techniques for productive raising. Food is the bedrock of the world's economy and will continue to be as long as agriculture keeps existing. Without agriculture, the world will suffer, therefore it is impossible for any country not to be involved in agriculture as it is undoubtedly the reason why people in a country can stay alive.
I will say that agriculture is man's greatest discovery and will forever be the greatest.
WHAT LIMITS AGRICULTURE?
A trending debate has been on the international level on the future of agriculture and it's capability to satisfy food demand. Well, this debate has received criticism as the topic proved to be wrong. What should be debated on is why conventional farming fail to feed the world?
Two major reasons why:
- Food not being produced where it is mostly consumed.
- Conventional farmers find it hard to afford chemical and energy inputs.
GOOD NEWS!
The above limitations can be reduced by releasing funds into conventional agriculture. Well, steem can be that funds that can save conventional agriculture and feed nations. This can be done by funding one small farm at a time.
HOW CAN STEEM ACHIEVE FEEDING NATIONS THROUGH AGRICULTURE
Steem can feed nations through agriculture by doing the following:

Steem can serve as a form of capital raising for small scale farmers who do not have enough funds for start-up. With the help of Steem, ICO(initial coin offerings) can be used to fund farm projects. KNOWLEDGE PROVISION:
Steem-powered community like @farms which provide individuals with sufficient farming information. This can be a great deal of inspiration to people who might want to venture into farming but lack the technical-know-how. @farms we are bent on empowering people with quality farming information. If steem can add a farmer to the world, then it means that a family can be fed with the help of Steem. With this, conventional farming is being preserved and the world is being fed, one family at a time. For every information @farms renders, a family is being fed, isn't that wonderful? Of course it is. I will say that the Steem blockchain is a friend of agriculture as it will not risk having hungry steemians across the world.
It is true that Steem will feed the world but one small farm at a time.
@steemchurch and @farms, we have never for once doubted the ability of Steem to feed the world because if Steem can feed one belly, it sure can feed more bellies.
