@Farms pre-visit in collaboration with @girlsfoundation to empower women in the agricultural sector

Few days ago @farms went on a pre-visit in collaboration with the @girlsfoundation to distribute an empower women in the agricultural sector with the aim of providing fertilizer and farming tool to help boost their farming quest.

The meeting took place at about 4:30pm when the team of @farms lead by brother @abiye visited the site and had a quick chat with the local farmer (woman) who cultivate and grow cocoyam, plantains and other vegetables on her plot of land, it was an awesome moment as she was enlighten about other areas of the agricultural sector.

She told us about the difficulty and problems she was facing on her farm land and ways she planned to increase productivity, @farms team took a close review of the land and educate her on how she could fight against pest and diseases.

Also we introduce her to #girls-foundation and our they planned to fight and stand out for women by empowering them on all areas including agriculture.

We the help of @girlsfoundation we plan to distribute fertilizer and farming tool at our next meeting with her.
