The sowing system of babano
How to grow bananas
Having your own healthy and delicious bananas can be wonderful if you are ready for an extended growing period. If you live in a place with a warm climate or have an enclosed space suitable for cultivation, continue reading to learn about the banana growing period of 1 year.
Sowing
The banana crop has several sowing systems, before proceeding to carry out the work, the following factors of the sector or area where the plantation is going to be installed must be taken into account.
**1. Variety to be used
- Precipitation
- Type of soil
- Target market for fruit**
Planting system.
The most used systems or forms of planting are the following:
- Forms of square
- Rectangle shapes
- Shape of an equilateral hexagon or triangle.
Equilateral triangle sowing system (three bobbin)
The recommended system is in the form of an equilateral triangle (three bobbin), because with this way of sowing it is possible to have a uniform distribution, which allows each of the plants to have an area equal to its foliage, thus allowing that the amount of sunlight received is the same for all production units and that there is no competition between them, for the capture of sunlight and the use of land.
The way to calculate the planting distance between plant and row is as follows:
Various planting distances and plant densities / ha
Example:
The number of plants per hectare is obtained, taking as a factor the distance between plants.
Sowing 2.8 x 2.8 m in triangle.
- Divide the 100 m of width between the distance between plants, obtaining the number of plants per row.
100 / 2.8 = 35.7- The distance between rows or rows is obtained, multiplying the distance between plants by the constant of 0.866.
2.8 x 0.866 = 2.42- Divide the 100 m in length between the furrow distance, obtaining the number of rows.
100 / 2.42 = 41.32- Multiply the number of plants per row by the number of rows, obtaining the number of plants per hectare.
Seeding procedure
Once the land where it is going to be planted is clean, we proceed to the location and marking of the place where each one of the seeds will be placed, for which we use 50 cm lengths of bamboo cane.
To start the staking, it is necessary to mark the crop lines and the starting line in the field. It is recommended that the rows always be oriented in the East - West direction, in order to make the most of sunlight.
To carry out the staking, a tape or rope is necessary where the sowing distance was previously set.
Once the land is cut, the seed is distributed at each site.
Then we proceed to make the hole for sowing, which must be done according to the size of the seed, both in width and depth. It is recommended before placing the strain in the hole cut the pseudostem about 5 - 10 cm above the neck of the corm.
When the seed is placed in the hole, it is then filled with loose or soft soil, tamping it so that there are no inner air chambers. A layer of soil should be left on the 5 cm seed, likewise rammed.
At the time of planting the soil must have enough moisture in case there is a deficiency should proceed to water immediately.
Replanting should be done 4-6 weeks after planting.
The production and business of bananas
Banana export
Sales of Ecuadorian bananas, the main non-oil export item in the country, had a slight growth in the first quarter of 2016, compared to the same period of 2015. Ecuadorian fruit exports between January and March grew by 2.03% , a notable contraction in relation to the 7.42% growth recorded by exports during the first three months of 2015. Figures from the Ecuadorian Banana Exporters Association indicate that the country exported in 2016 around 84.2 million fruit boxes. Despite the low sales, these continue to grow compared to 2014, when 76.8 million boxes were shipped. For the union of banana exporters, the contraction of exports is due to the fact that the production of fruit in Ecuador is reaching its ceiling due, in turn, to climatic factors, increased production costs, in particular oil agricultural and diesel; the lack of incentives, and excessive red tape that causes delays in shipments.

First time I read, about the cultivation and production of bananas.
In that fruit many rich recipes are made in the kitchen of several countries of the world. It is very versatile.
