It's a wonderful day here in Nigeria. Its only fair for a man to wake early and thank God for all this wonderful......
It's also a great day for @farms community because against all odds, @farms would finally hold its trivia. It only proves that @abiye is capable of tackling any setback. But i must implore that we give him our full support, prayers and blessing. As the @farms trivia article stated here, no man is an island.
Also, we also must pray for @sirknight because all these wouldn't have been possible without him.

TRACTORS

A tractor is a modern vehicle designed to convey a high load effort at slow speeds, for moving a machine used in construction and agriculture.. Agricultural tools and other machines may be towed behind or carried, and even mounted on a tractor, and the tractor may also act as a source of power if the tool is equally mechanized.

USES OF TRACTOTS

• Intercultivation
• Spraying/Pesticide application
• Ploughing the land

all these uses can are associated with a farm tractor. It can either accomplish all this by its use alone or with the addition of another machine. But nevertheless, this farm machine tremendously reduces the work done on farmlands.

PLOUGHS

This is a large farm machine with more than one blade fixed in the frame. This blades are drawn across the soil to turn it over and create furrows to prepare for the planting of seeds on the farmland.

USES OF PLOUGS

• breaks tough soils layers without the soil getting stuck to it.
• looses soil structures or moulds. Cultivation of fields.

SPRAYERS

A piece of equipment used to apply fertilizer, pesticides or herbicides on farm crops. A very useful tool for dispersing of liquid covering a large area withing a short time........ This reduces the efforts put in by the farmer and improves accuracy in spreading liquid.

PLANTER

This is a farm tool, usually attached behind a tractor for the sole purpose of sowing seeds.

BULLDOZER

This is known as a crawler machine. It is used to push large quantities of soil, rubble, stones, gravel, or sand. This is a farm machine but it is also used in construction. It has an arm-like extension called the ripper.

It is safe to say that farming methods would be crude, difficult and slow if not for the creation of these machines which continually aid farmers in their day to day activities.
