Success in Russia was followed by the triumph of Brocard at international exhibitions in Nice, Boston, Barcelona, ​​Brussels. Now the perfumer could only conquer his native France, and it happened! In 1889, at the World Exhibition in Paris, the most famous perfume Brokara "Persian Lilac" received a great gold medal. This delicate floral fragrance competed for a long time with expensive perfume of French brands, for decades it was successfully sold in France, Spain, Belgium, the USA, Persia, China and Japan. Brokar's dream came true, but he could not return to his native France - a well-established business, which brought fabulous profits was his brainchild and risked it, he had no right.

Since 1872, he collected paintings by the Flemish painters, bronzes, porcelain, ceramics, and in the end he opened an exhibition of his collection in 8 halls of the upper trading rows on the Red Square, present GUM. But the collection of rare Masonic objects was given to the Imperial Historical Museum by Brocard. All proceeds from the sale of art he spent on charity. In terms of the number of exhibits, his gallery stood on the third place after the Museum of Fine Arts and the Tretyakov Art Gallery, and even exceeded one of them by attendance.

   Помимо парфюмерии у Генриха Афанасьевича была еще одна страсть - он был заядлым коллекционером. С 1872 года он собирал картины Фламанских художников, изделия из бронзы, фарфор, керамику и в конце концов он открыл выставку своей коллекции в 8 залах верхних торговых рядов на Красной площади, нынешнего ГУМа. А вот собрание редких масонских предметов Брокар подарил Императорскому Историческому музею. Все доходы от продаж предметов искусства он тратил на благотворительность. По количеству экспонатов его галерея стояла на 3 месте после Музея Изящных искусств и Художественной галереи братьев Третьяковых, а по посещаемости даже превысила один из них.

   I must say that Brokar was a person pleasant, tactful and very devoted to his family and his work, he was a real workaholic and demanded the same from everyone who worked for his firm. He did not tolerate laziness, lies and negligence, his workers received very high for those times, wages and enjoyed social benefits. The lowest-paid worker received 15 rubles a month, which at that time in Moscow for 10 cents could be a dense dinner. The broker had neither strikes nor riots.

   Надо сказать, что Брокар был человеком приятным, тактичным и очень преданным своей семье и своему делу, он был настоящим трудоголиком и того же требовал от всех, кто работал на его фирме.Он не терпел лени, лжи и нерадивости, его рабочие получали очень высокую по тем временам заработную плату и пользовались социальными льготами. Самый низкооплачиваемый работник получал ежемесячно 15 рублей, это в то время в Москве за 10 копеек можно было плотно пообедать. У брокара не было ни забастовок, ни бунтов.
