Feathered Friday. Griffon Vulture in the Moscow Zoo / Белоголовый сип в Московском зоопарке

Recently, I have been observing some kind of activity among birds: bird flocks are spinning all the time. But I can not see what kind of birds and can't photograph properly.	Последнее время наблюдаю какую-то активность среди птиц: всё время кружатся стаи. Но я не могу ни рассмотреть, что это за птицы, ни сфотографировать толком.
Therefore, I will show a bird from the zoo.	Поэтому буду показывать птичку из зоопарка.
The photos were found in the archive, they were taken quite a long time ago: in September 2008.	Фотографии нашлись в архиве, сняты были довольно давно: в сентябре 2008 года.
The bird is a large, beautiful, eye-catching griffon vulture (Gyps fulvus).	Птица крупная, красивая, привлекающая внимание – белоголовый сип (Gyps fulvus).
This bird belongs to the vulture and, accordingly, is a scavenger. It is found on quite a large territory: in Southern Europe, in Asia, in North Africa. Occurs in the mountains of the Crimea and the Caucasus. In Russia, listed in the Red Book of Russia.	Эта птица относится к грифам и соответственно является падальщиком. Водится на довольно большой территории: в Южной Европе, в Азии, в Северной Африке. Встречается в горах Крыма и Кавказа. В России внесен в Красную книгу России.
Griffon vultures feed exclusively on carrion, do not attack live animals.	Питаются белоголовые сипы исключительно падалью, не нападают на живых животных.

In the Moscow Zoo, griffon vultures live in the aviary "On the Rock of Birds of Prey". When I was there, I saw only one bird, but there are several of them in the zoo. In particular, a stable married couple, not once bringing chicks.	В Московском зоопарке белоголовые сипы живут в вольере «На скале хищных птиц». Когда я там была, то видела только одну птицу, но их в зоопарке несколько. В то числе, крепкая семейная пара, не раз приносившая птенцов.
Griffon vultures are the only ones from this communal economy who breed. They also live in nature in small colonies and allow nesting of other species among their colonies.	Белоголовые сипы единственные из этого коммунального хозяйства, кто плодится. Они и в природе живут небольшими колониями и допускают среди своей колонии гнездовье других видов.
Here another bird from the aviary also got into the frame. It can be seen that the griffon vulture is larger. It is about a meter in size, and its wingspan is about 2.5 meters.	Здесь в кадр попала и другая птица из вольера. Видно, что белоголовый сип крупнее. Он примерно метр размером, а размах крыльев около 2,5 метров.

Males and females do not differ in plumage. Therefore, I can not say who is in my photo. A bit strange combination of a stern expression of the face, a strict look and a gentle white plumage on the head and a down collar.

Самцы и самки не различаются оперением. Поэтому не могу сказать, кто же на моей фотографии. Немного странное сочетание сурового выражения лица, строгого взгляда и нежного белого оперения на голове и пухового воротника.
