The Palatable Beauty of Acehnese Stir Fried Tuna with Tempe Cuisine
Behind the beauty of cuisine, there is a messy kitchen, or even a pantry which is completely inappropriate to be shown to the reader.
So, this time I will only show the beauty of Indonesian cuisine, but I will not give more detailed photos for the stages of this recipe. I have to hunt for time to prepare for breaking the fast, and only take photos of dishes when I have arranged the dishes on a serving plate.
Hopefully you like the photos from my following cuisine.
Acehnese is one of the tribes in Indonesia that has rich spices, besides Javanese. I am indeed a Javanese, but I learned a little from Acehnese people when I lived in Aceh.
I combine tuna with tempeh which is served by stir fried using Acehnese spices.
In my picture, there is a little sauce, but this is only for photo purposes on this plate. Actually, this dish has a lot of gravy so that the flavors of tuna are rich in spices and become the perfect complement to the side dishes for friends to eat rice.
Acehnese Stir Fried Tuna With Tempe Cuisine has an appetizing fragrance. The fragrance of this aroma comes from Curry Leaves, Salam Leaves, and Kaffir Lime Leaves.
The spices used are basically the same as Indonesian cuisine which is dominated by spicy taste. The mashed spices then stir fry include:
- Red chili
- Cayenne pepper
- Red onion
- Garlic
- Turmeric
- Ginger
- Coriander
- Asam Sunti (derived from bilimbi fruit that is marinated and dried for a long time)
A typical spice in this dish is Asam Sunti. Next, I show you photos of the Asam Sunti supply in my kitchen. Asam Sunti is a magic spice!

One more thing I like about this dish is of course Kaffir Lime Leaves. I apply the use of Kaffir Lime Leaves to many dishes. In addition to the mixture when cooking, kaffir lime leaves I use as a garnish to beautify also strengthen the aroma of this cuisine.

It was great that I could breathe in the fragrant aroma of spices for various dishes, which combined with the aroma of the kitchen. Really it is a pleasure that is more than just eating. :)
