Mixing Business With Pleasure
You’re probably expecting a typical contender from me tonight, right? The kind I always do, you know what I mean. The kind where I add a few progress pictures, list about a dozen measured ingredients specific to your region, attach an edited d.tube clip verifying my kitchen wizardry and follow it all up with my world famous signature gif that makes your touchscreen smell like coconut oil—sorry, more of that next week never! Tonights @foodfightfriday contender is business in the front and pleasure in the back.
41 weeks on the #blockchain and nearly 20 contestants every week, I’ve seen more cover images worthy of a magazine photo shoot than I can count. So, I have an idea, 🤔 ready? Tonight’s contender is all about the cover image—I got a one-two to the kisser that goes by Business first and Pleasure second. Ladies and gentlemen, boys n girls, you know what day it is! Meet tonight’s contender—”wooh!”

I thought the actual business model was a bit much for tonight’s cover image so I used the toned down version you just saw—fluff. This is what I mean my business—business cards:

Now for the pleasure part—the #writing on the wall or, in this case, on the window I missed—twice! Next door to the market I’ve been to three times now and failed to notice until today is this #cryptocurrency joint:

Down here in Costa Rica I found this business in a strip mall, next to a grocery market and, judging from the pick-axes on the window, my guess was maybe a mining operation? 🤔 The door was locked. I looked in the windows as best I could and didn’t see any rigs set up, just a few desks, it’s not a mining operation. So, I did what we all do, I asked DuckDuckGo.
Fuzion Capital is a FinTech company registered in Costa Rica as #blockchain based business solutions. I have an addition to that, before we made the move here at the beginning of January, I searched for Bitcoin ATM’s and there wasn’t any. The nearest one was in Panama City. I made a mental note. I just checked again yesterday and was happy to learn there’s two here now—more pleasure. They’re quite a drive for us but it’s good to know #crypto and FinTech are in Central and South America.

When I found out there were bitcoin ATM's I was surprised at how much I didn't know about what is going on. I mean to have an ATM just for that is awesome. I am very far from any of those ATM's but how awesome would it be to have some just for Steem!

Ooh, I just recorded a sunset yesterday, how they do on tv and set the camera to snap pictures every 30/60 seconds. I figured out how to do that with the camera yesterday, now I’ll bring it to iMovie and figure out how to time lapse images so ya’all can watch a sunset with us. 😉 “baby steps.”

Hey @dandays, sorry for not getting back right away. We have been out of town for the past several days. We went to Pennsylvania for a visit with our daughter. #farm-mom could not have had a better Mother's day. With Erica living 3 hours away and extremely busy with work, we don't get to see our baby doll as often as we would like. You were right on with #blocktrades stopping by. Boy does that feel good when you post content that has taken several days to compose and then have it recognized. I know that many of the posts you do require hours of work and there is nothing better than having the content HIT IT OUT OF THE PARK.
Also, thanks for the link for locating BTC ATMs. The nearest one to me is located in Syracuse NY, which is just over 100 miles from the farm. Not to practical to travel that distance, but even having any in this area is a good sign. I never told you but every time we converse, I’m reminded of Katie, the little neighbor girl I lived across the street from when we were like 6th grade to maybe 11th, she and I were the same age—they had a pool. A dope assets pool with a slide, diving board and a cover you could walk on. I was over there every.single.day in the summer time. They had two bulldogs with smashed faces, her dad, Henry, was a retired fire chief and her mother, Patti, was a nurse at the same hospital as my mother.
Well it seems like you're keeping up alright up to this point, so barring any unforeseen keyboard accidents you're doing a-ok on the food sharing front! 😉
That's a nice Katie memory. I've never lived in a house with a pool, though we did have a hot tub for a few years in high school which was still pretty cool at the time. The closest thing we have now is the neighbors yard fills up with water when it rains really hard. Usually not a pleasant time to go swimming, though, haha!

Well if Bitcoin lasts then it should have another bull run but of course it may not be a terrific trajectory, it might be a slow climb. Don't matter to us either way does it sir dandays? Because we got our small fortune invested which will turn into a large one. lol. I'm just teasing. I don't have a small fortune invested.
