Fishless fingers for foodfightfriday
Howzit going every1? I'm back for another round of food fighting after a bit of break, and I made some fishless fingers, I could not find any fish that had any fingers so I made some myself, lol 😂, I don't eat fish anyway. Before going vegan I used to go fishing quite often but never ate fish, I would give it away, the only fish I liked was fish fingers, so I veganised it. If you saw my vegan rainbow sushi post you would have seen I made a fishy marinade, I reused the left over to soak some tofu. Here's the link incase you interested.

Here is a pic of the tofu in marinade.
After a couple days soaking in the fridge I Dumped it into a food processor with
A tin of cannaloni beans
1 onion
3 chopped garlic cloves
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1/2 a cup of flour
Pinch of salt and pepper
Blended that up and dumped it in some crumbs and made some fingers.
I baked it for half an hour.
I also had a bit of a sweat tooth so I made some banana biscuits, no added sugar and glueten free.
400g rolled oats
4 bananas
200g walnuts
100g dates soaked in boiling water
Pinch of cinnamon
Everything got chucked in the food processor and baked for 30min.

So, fingers without fish and banana biscuits. I'm not a huge fish fan myself, so I might go this other route, too. I definitely like bananas, and everything you put into that one.

Dude, your triple f meal is on point. I find it interesting that you used to fish but wouldn’t eat them… I eat fish now but when I was younger I did not. Fish is an acquired taste I think. Anyway, that banana walnut dessert is only 😋. Happy food fight @gguy773
Thanks, yeah I used to love fishing until a couple years I just felt sorry for the fish, so I never fished again, I had a bit of a phobia eating fish because I chocked on a fish bone as a kid, I would only eat seafood and fish fingers.
Ouch! That sounds painful and I have a weird fear of fish bones myself. I’ve never choked on one (yet) but I do search my fish like a mad woman before eating. As a kid I hated fish. It wasn’t until a couple years ago did I even consider eating fish or seafood. Now, I love it. I could live off of fish and veggies and of course some good fruit. Yum!
What is the origin of this dish? It looks tasy AF. I'd love to wash it down with a Weissbier. I think the two who complement each other very nicely.
