His dreams of playing at the world cup had come to an abrupt end. He was a super star, a deadly force to recon with, a fox in the box, goal keepers tremble at his feet.

Alex was not just a promising player, he had helped his team to several victories, as he walked by his cabinet littered with his numerous accolades which embarrassed his wallpaper on the wall of his home.
He was thinking about their champions league final which was slated to hold in the next three days.

Losing was not an option, he didn't know when such an opportunity was going to present itself again.
He was not the kind to lose matches, how was he going to face his fans, his daughter....his partner.

April was not just his girlfriend, she was his life. He loved her so deeply that he wanted her to see him winning.
She always motivated him to be a better player, a better partner and a better person. He wanted the victory, the smile on her face was worth more than the trophy.

He remembered how they met, he was on vacation after just winning the league's title with his club and he wanted to explore Paris a little bit.
April was just an average girl with just a heart melting smile. He was strolling down the streets when he heard someone saying "hey mister."

He turned around and met the most gorgeous face he had ever seen. She was like excsue me, you dropped your wallet.
He thanked her but her beauty, her beauty was just so mesmerizing, he used that opportunity to complement her after thanking her and took a picture with her.
They went out for a quick cup of coffee which turned into two and then three and before you know, their baby Eva was born.

The day of the final had come, they were playing ruthlessly, they were still still goalless, they needed this win.
Suddenly, he just had a flashback of his daughter telling him to bring home the trophy and he went full scale rambo on the pitch.
He beat three defenders and the next image that lit the screen of millions of viewers was the ball at the back of the net which Alex was the culprit that was responsible for that wonderful goal.

As he was celebrating his goal, he caught a glimpse of April in the stands, the smile and everything else was history.
