#123 : Henry Drake - Here's the Plan

It didn’t take very long for Fluffy to close the distance on the boat that had Angel aboard. Fluffy dropped back into the water and slowed to about ten knots.

“That wasn’t too bad was it?” Henry asked.

“Are we there yet?” Bob had his eyes closed.

“Yup” Henry said “ About five hundred yards off their stern. You ready?”

“I certainly am.” Bob said.

Fluffy approached the kidnappers ship from astern. Bob went into VR and took control of a SeaGull avatar. The bird exited Fluffy and flew over the kidnappers boat.

Seagulls weren’t the least bit unusual. One more wouldn’t draw any attention. It didn’t. Bob flew the seagull over the boat then the seagull did what seagulls do best. It begin pooping. It pooped a lot..from stem to stern of the kidnappers boat.

The poop was special. It contained surveillance ‘bots. A whole lot of them. The ‘bots looked like insects, a common thing in the swamp, they crawled, flew and scampered about the boat. All through it. Bob was scanning a bunch of virtual ‘screens’. It wasn’t long before he located Angel.

“Hello Angel” the cockroach said “This is Bob. This bug’s a ‘bot’”

Angel looked at the talking cockroach in disbelief..then the disbelief turn to relief.

“You came for me.” she said “I never doubted that you would. I knew that they didn’t kill you. Somehow.”

“Of course I did.” Bob said.

“Here’s the plan” he told her.
