FLASH FICTION: Nobody is Useless

Long time ago, across the mountains, there lived a poor farmer who had only two precious possessions - a clay water pot and a basket.
One cold evening, it started to rain heavily. Wanting some water, the farmer took his water pot and placed it inside the rain.
While it was being carried, the water pot looked at the idle basket and said,
"You're useless. You cannot hold water like me"
The basket was sad but did not say anything.
Some weeks later, however, harvest time came. The farmer took the basket to the farm and left the water pot at home.
While being carried, the basket looked at the water pot and said,
"Now, you can see that I am not useless. In short, nobody is useless. Time makes the difference."
The water pot was remorseful but had learnt its lessons, that is, nobody is useless.
