Mercia went back to the gym the next morning. It went better than expected. She was glad that she went to the support group the previous night, because if she didn't, she would definitely have given up. After she got home the night before she prepared her food for lunch the following day and made sure that she would not get hungry. She followed the eating plan exactly as it was prescribed and within a week she felt much better than she had in years. She even felt less stressed and it even felt as if people at work noticed her more. She kept on going to the support meeting once a week, and felt stronger and more motivated every week she walked out of there.
She made a completely new group of friends and she felt happy. She no longer had any cravings for junk-food and when she went out with friends she made a point of eating right. Everywhere she went she received compliments and she really started feeling good about herself.
She started to work less, because she did not have to hide anymore. At the gym, she was showing Ivan a thing or two, and he even set her up on a few dates, but they were just not her type. She vowed to keep on going to the gym, even though she reached her goal weight, as it has become part of her daily life.
One evening while at the support group, a man walked in. He was shy and overweight, but he was the kindest person she had ever met, and had the bluest eyes she had ever seen. Mercia who was no longer shy, introduced herself, and she instantly knew that she met her soulmate.
Mercia and Peter became great friends, and she introduced him to Ivan. Ivan worked out a program for Peter and they started going to the gym together.
Peter followed the same route she did, and even though it was a hard road for Peter, he also reached his goal weight in less than four months. He had the support he needed.
It was no surprise for anyone, when they announced at a support meeting six months later, that they were getting married. While on this difficult journey, both Peter and Mercia discovered themselves and they did things together they they could always only dream of.
It was a joyous day when Mercia walked down the aisle with her father on her side. She could not believe that she was getting married and at the end of the aisle her handsome prince were waiting for her. On their honeymoon night, Mercia took a shower and when she got out, she looked at herself in the mirror. It was a totally different picture than the previous time she stared at herself, and she felt happy when she went to meet her husband waiting for her in bed.

I think we should focus on eating healthy just to be healthy not for looks. Than it becomes a lifestyle and not a diet any more :)
