There was a time when Hvitserk Ragnarsson believed that he would live off pillage and agriculture like any citizen of old Scandinavia, despite his desire to travel and to know the world without the need to resort to violence.

However, time showed him the opposite: When he had least thought about it, he was there, in an unknown port surrounded by individuals with strange clothes.

His feet had taken him there after surviving in the Rus. His heart, still wounded by that tragedy that occurred on the islands of Brittany, guided him to that city of colorful and gorgeous buildings. Dressed in dark robes and with a strange hat on his head, Hvitserk walked the streets; with some dissimulation, he observed the behavior of those people with small, slanted eyes. They spoke a strange language, apparently complicated to understand; Are they talking about him? He would never know

- You're from the North.

The young man turned to his unexpected interlocutor. This one, an old man with orange trappings, smiled at him when he noticed his surprise, which increased when he added that he was one of them. The young man tried to excuse himself by saying that he was not a pirate, but a wanderer  in the world; he did not want to have problems with anyone, not even with the locals. All he wanted was to be alone. Likewise, he wondered how that old man had learned his language.

The old man, perhaps guessing his doubts, replied calmly:

-I was like you in my youth: a wanderer of the world. Your land was the last thing I visited before returning home; I learned your language with an old friend.

Hvitserk wanted to say something to him, but the old man did not let him; instead, he invited him to the temple, where he would find the peace that his heart and spirit needed so much.

I went hunting for the Spanish version.. Both are great..The Spanish Language always seems to be a little more expressive or give more for the imagination... maybe its just me.. lol
