FIFA Football World Cup - PART 9

1970 FIFA World Cup was the ninth version. It was held in Mexico between 31 May and 21 June.

It was the first World Cup tournament staged in North America, and the first held outside Europe and South America.

Four teams qualified to the semi-final; Brasil, Italy, West Germany and Uruguay.

Brasil and Italy met in the final game in Mexico City; Brasil were able to conquer and win the game 4-1, to get their 3rd title.

Germany, Gerd Müller, was the top goalscorer with 10 goals, followed by Brasilian, Jairzinho, with 7 goals.
