Another Fight: The Good Fight

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. — 1 Timothy 6:12 (KJV)

Beloved brethren,we have been called to live like Christ,to live even in eternity with Him. Hallelujah! But there's an inward fight to win. The fight of faith. The fight against unbelieves,doubt,the flesh and the sinful nature. It's a fight that challenges our very existence in Christ. A fight of faith. It's not only a fight to remain faithful,but also a fight to keep believing in the midst of storms.

This fight doesn't respect titles or the number of years one has been a Christian. Thus we all need to consciously say no to the entanglement with the flesh. Are you still in the fight? Or have you gotten tired of it? Please don't give up before the reward. The crown is real! The reward is staring at your face and the host of heaven is cheering you on to the finish line. Nothing in this world is worth giving up the Christian race. Lay hold on the life of Christ daily,lay hold on the eternal life. You have come this far and you are already on the winning team. Christ is our master and He's proven to be a winner in every battles. Note that the fight is in holding on to Christ and denying the world and it's enticement. The grace is sufficient.
