Somewhere in the middle of the trailer it reminded me on The Village movie from 2004 and I liked that film a lot (don’t know why, because it is not something special at all :-) ). Anyways, Midsommar is mystery/horror/drama film that is coming to cinemas this July.
The story follows a young couple visiting an isolated Swedish village. When they have arrived, they discover that its residents participate in some weird and creepy seasonal traditions...

The movie is directed and written by Ari Aster, known for movies like Hereditary (2018), or short films The Strange Thing About the Johnsons (2011) and Munchausen (2013).
Starring Florence Pugh (The Falling (2014), Marcella (2016), Lady Macbeth (2016)), Jack Reynor (Glassland (2014), Macbeth (2015), Free Fire (2016)), William Jackson Harper (Paterson (2016), The Good Place (2016-2019), True Story (2015)), Will Poulter (We're the Millers (2013), The Maze Runner (2014), Detroit (2017)) and others.
